by 10:00 a.m., the n.f.l. is telling the panthers to make the trip to kansas city. by 3:00 p.m., there is a hastily worded releases that say no, the decision was actually by the kansas city chiefs and head coach rom yes purnell and it's best for the team for the healing processes to go ball and play. now, en if you do believe that -- and frank, i don't. but even if you do believe that that it was the decision of the chiefs and their captains why is that even their decision to make? this seems like more an issue for mental health professionals than anymore. jaf javon belcher was a teammate and they had to process that he was a murderer and a suicide all in the matter of minutes and then had to play a violent game 24 hours later. it shouldn't have happened. it's a sham that it did happen. shame on the n.f.l. because they have such a high cultureal platform and the message that they are sending to their fans is that their schedule their multi-billion dollar training, that needs to run on time is more important than any kind of perspective about the terrible loss of lif
